The Popular Center’s Urban Hub is located opposite the Popular Center Building in Hato Rey, and directly adjacent to the Hato Rey Urban Train Station and the Puerto Rico Coliseum. The strategic location is excellent for a pedestrian orientated project that includes public, commercial and passive recreational spaces.
The project’s pedestrian bridge over Luis Muñoz Rivera Avenue connects Popular Center with a new urban park, that includes a state-of-the-art restaurant, surrounded by water features and public plazas, all extensively landscaped, creating a green oasis in the center of the business district. The pedestrian bridge and covered walkway provide a safe passage from the Hato Rey financial district, via Popular Center, to the restaurant, urban park, and Tren Urbano station.
