Located in a double-story space in the former Art Deco Citibank Building in Old San Juan, the Old Harbor Brewery, Steak and Lobster House retained many of the original building’s wrought iron railings, lamps and decorative and structural elements. The design and construction efforts were closely monitored by the Puerto Rico Institute of Culture to ensure the preservation of the overall historical character. The restaurant integrates a state-of-the-art German brewery designed by world renowned Rudolph Caspary of Chieming, Germany. The display kitchen design and the materials selection emulate the finishes and patterns typical to Old San Juan residences.
