The McConnell Valdés law offices are located in the Hato Rey financial district, occupying 5 floors of a high-rise office building. In addition to the lawyers’ private offices, the project includes a conference center, a fully equipped kitchen, a striking atrium overlooking the library and a double height reception area with 200-gallon salt-water aquarium with exotic fish from the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. Natural materials are the dominant theme: light wood as a finish for walls and custom-made furniture, rustic Portuguese stone for the floors, natural leather for seating upholstery and sand-blasted glass on office and conference doors. Significant artwork from known Puerto Rican artists complements and enhances the conference rooms and circulation corridors.
