Luchetti 1212 Apartments

The goal for Luchetti 1212 was to create a structure of nineteen luxury apartments, maximizing views, the natural light and tropical breezes of Condado, on a small, narrow corner lot of only 1,557 sq. m. The design includes a westerly-oriented solid curved volume, and a translucent grid of aluminum and glass elements on the eastern side. The curved façade has deep openings to provide shade and protect the rooms from the afternoon sun. The architectural form addresses climate concerns, the elements of the design contribute significantly to reduction of the sun’s impact and to the consumption of energy, as natural ventilation is effectively used. Emphasis was given to the main entrance by creating a separate pavilion from the main residential building.
