The station is located in a residential zone of single-family structures. Special attention was paid to the project height and overall scale to minimize the impact on the community, including the landscaping and a covered walkway at the entrance. The principal users of the station are the residents of the Río Bayamón community. The central, sunken platform has prefabricated brise-soleils along the side walls and a skylight the length of the vault, for lighting and ventilation.
