Located at the foot of a hill, to the east of Ramírez de Arellano Boulevard and adjacent to the Torrimar Shopping Mall, this station has been particularly successful in becoming a node of activity in its surroundings. Large cantilever roof overhangs announce from a distance the structure and give shelter from harsh sunlight to passengers waiting on the lateral platforms.

Several commercial concession spaces provided, in addition to the proximity to the Torrimar Recreational Park, keep the station busy throughout day and night. The project scheme allowed the flexibility of adding a passenger drop-off area, a valuable amenity which was not possible in many other stations because of limited site area.
