The investigative and educational activities of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute at Punta Culebra are a celebration of the fascinating co-existence of an ongoing scientific study of a remarkable coastal environment and a desire to share it with all its visitors. Successful in its present state, STRI wishes to develop the Institute’s full potential within the site. SCF designed a master plan to address the full interpretive, educational and environmental potential of this remarkable treasure between the two oceans.
