Located in the heart of Condado, at Gallery Plaza, with 11,000 square feet facilities, the design of the wellness center takes advantage of the splendid Condado views and natural illumination through large glass windows. The design focuses on a city atmosphere and modern layout. A main wall-less space was arranged into a central area for exercise machines and free-body weights, with exposed ceilings for a more industrial look. Smaller areas branch out of this central area, divided by transluscent curtains, to allow daylight to penetrate the whole space. The dance, aerobics, zumba and spinning studios each have their own personality, to compliment the programmatic elements. Separate his/her’s locker rooms also focus on the needs of the clients and a welcoming lounge for each. A playful kid’s room with lively colors and fun furniture is an additional attraction to the new venue.
